Position Overview
Africado Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Auto Mechanic Grade 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various vehicles and equipment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs on gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment independently.
- Assist with servicing and repairs of heavy equipment.
- Use, repair, and maintain machines and tools effectively.
- Conduct complete mechanical repairs and make adjustments or modifications to vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Gather and analyze information about users’ issues and determine the best solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Auto Mechanic Engineering (Grade 1).
- Proficiency in English speaking and communication.
- Proven ability to perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
